We are delighted and advocate for more platforms for the voices of young people to be heard.

Supporting Teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Supporting Teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Teachers are great blessings. For many, the COVID-19 crisis has brought a renewed appreciation for the tremendous role teachers play, as parents grapple with home schooling their children, at this time.

Through the support of our dear partner; the Lebanese Ladies Society, we are delighted we were able to support 10 amazing teachers with bags of food items and toiletries.

Thank you to our wonderful partner for making this a reality.

We shall all get through COVID-19 and come out stronger.

Giving the Extra Edge!

Giving the Extra Edge!

Dealing with poor self image and the value we place on ourselves is extremely vital to our success.

It was an awesome learning experience for our Change Champions during the 3rd Module of S.M.I.L.E’s Young Leaders Mentoring Program as Mrs Olabisi Ibitayo explained the importance of self love, confidence boosters, removal of mental limitations and the necessary etiquette for proper communication, dressing, dining and social interactions to our young leaders during the session on Self Esteem, Confidence Building, Comportment and Etiquette.

Power of Teamwork

Power of Teamwork

We are delighted the Change Champions are learning to work well together and now understand teamwork is a crucial part of success and goal attainment.

During the break out session of module 2, they had a great time discussing plans for their Wednesday fieldwork and school projects with their School Counselors and Youth Mentors.

Speak to Lead!

Speak to Lead!

One of the major ways leaders influence people is through communication, and public speaking is an integral form of leadership communication. So during the module 2, the Change Champions were not only equipped with the relevant Public Speaking and Presentation skills but were given the stage to “walk to the talk”.
