Celebrating A Kind Heart

It was a moment of AWE for Tolulope as she received the gifts sent to her by our beloved partner, a woman with a very kind heart, Julie Groke.

Though in the USA, Julie has been supporting Tolulope since 2019 by first providing a brand new sewing machine for her fashion business and now sending a box of goodies.

On behalf of your Nigerian daughter, we say a very big thank you, Julie

Love you, loads and Happy Birthday !

A New Breed of Leaders

A New Breed of Leaders

Here at last… The journey of transformation begins as we commence the empowerment of another batch of high school students on the 2020 S.M.I.L.E’s Young Leaders Mentoring Program (YLMP).

“Character gives weight to your voice and longevity to your influence” – Dr. Myles Munroe

In our quest to raise a new set of young exemplary leaders and role models, the first module focused on visioning, goal setting and the foundational issue of “Character Development” as a critical factor for Leadership Success.

Special thanks to our very dear Tobi Afolabi for an insightful session last night during the “Change Champions Chat”.

Indeed your thoughts on critically reviewing our 2019 goals achievement index; identifying our key goal areas and focusing on relevant goals in 2020; and having a tribe – the right people to facilitate the fulfillment of our goals, will contribute immensely to helping us Start and Finish 2020 well.

Sumptuous Pastries and Refreshing Drinks

It was a thrilling experience for our pastries and cocktail students, learning to transform the dough into a variety yummy snacks like doughnuts, chin chin, egg rolls, peanut burger and meat pie. The zobo and coconut flavoured drinks were not left out!

We all looked forward to our daily tasting… Special thanks to Timba Entrepreneur Foundation for facilitating this class.
