The second module of S.M.I.L.E’s 2022 Young Leaders Mentoring Program, which held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 took a deep-dive into addressing the mindset of the 40 Change Champions about how they see themselves.

Special thanks to our amazing partner and member of our faculty, Mrs Olabisi Ibitayo (CEO Limelight EduConsult) who facilitated the sessions on Self-Esteem and Confidence Building, and Comportment and Etiquette.

Mrs Ibitayo highlighted the need for the Change Champions to see themselves in a new light beyond their challenges and inadequacies, place value on themselves, avoid negative thinking, relieve good moments, adopt the use of confidence boosters, have a “Good at list” and embrace their beautiful future with renewed vigor. In addition to this, she took the young leaders through the various forms of etiquette such as dining, phone and dress etiquette, grooming and the ideal way they are expected to comport and conduct themselves at all times.

It was indeed an impactful session and we are delighted at the openness and willingness to learn demonstrated by these promising young leaders. To help us touch more lives, please donate via https://smileng.org/donate/
