THREE STUDENTS EMERGED WINNERS IN THE 2022 S.M.I.L.E DIGITAL LITERACY PROGRAM 🏆🏆

Our hearty congratulations goes to the young leaders who emerged as winners of our just concluded Digital Literacy Program in Jagunmolu Girls Senior Grammar School.

Two young leaders emerged as the recipients of the Outstanding Achievement Award and each girl went home with a star prize of a brand new android phone courtesy of our sponsor Sherlanda Jackson.

The third student who topped the class in the digital literacy exams was given a cash gift of twenty thousand naira by one of our partners, Mr Tunde Akpobome.

We are not oblivious of the fact that our budding indigent youth need digital devices to learn, practice and continually thrive in today’s ICT driven world, we are certain that having these devices will take them a step closer to becoming more digitally equipped and able to access information from the internet for learning and other related activities.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our exceptional partner, Sherlanda Jackson for sponsoring this program.

To support this drive, please join us as we digitally empower more indigent students in the new year by donating via

S.M.I.L.E U.S.A PARTNER VISITS OUR YOUNG LEADERS IN JAGUNMOLU GIRLS SENIOR GRAMMAR SCHOOL 💃🕺

It was a great delight to host one of our international partners- Sherlanda Jackson who came all the way from the United States of America. During her short stay, she visited our office and the young leaders she sponsored at Jagunmolu Girls Senior Grammar School, Lagos.

The 22 girls on the S.M.I.L.E 2022 Digital Literacy Program were so excited to meet her and it was such a redefining moment for the students as they took turns to ask questions and interact with our partner.

They expressed their gratitude to her for the opportunity they were given to be on Digital Literacy Program and assured her they will put the digital skills they have acquired to good use.

Sherlanda also encouraged the girls to discover themselves, and exude confidence as young budding female leaders.

We are exceedingly grateful to our amazing partner for supporting and inspiring our girls.

22 GIRLS GRADUATE FROM S.M.I.L.E DIGITAL LITERACY PROGRAM 💃🏾💃🏾🕺🏾🕺🏾

It’s been an interesting upskilling journey for the 22 young leaders in an all girls public secondary school we adopted in Lagos State, this year.

These smart girls within the ages of 14- 18 years old were taken through an intensive seven weeks Digital Literacy Program/ basic Computer Appreciation Course.

Being digitally literate is now a major criterion for relevance and success in today’s world and it has become more imperative that we give girls access to opportunities in the tech space.

We are glad we could help bridge the digital divide once again by digitally empowering these girls who could have been marginalized for lack of these skills.

Our profound gratitude goes to our partner in the United States of America, Sherlanda Jackson, for sponsoring this impactful program and Develop Africa Inc., USA/ Computer Equipment For Kids, USA for donating the 10 laptops used for the program.

Needless to say, this feat wouldn’t have been possible without the immense support of the management of the school, Mrs Jinmi-Ahisu and Mrs Oluremi Ladipo as well as our dynamic instructors- Mr Jesse Okpara C.E.O Mobitranes Technologies, Mr Gbenga Adebayo and Miss Alimot Uthman, who simplified the lessons/modules making it more practical for easy assimilation.

We look forward to more support and partnerships as we empower more young leaders with digital skills in the new year.
