S.M.I.L.E DONATES LABORATORY TABLES AND STOOLS BECAUSE OF THE EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE OF 5 STUDENTS 💃🏾🕺🏾

Hurray!!

 

We are super excited we are rounding off our activities for this year on a high note with a big surprise for our exceptional Change Champions.

 

A big congratulations to Lanre Awolokun High School, Gbagada as they emerged as the School of the Year out of the 8 schools who took part in our 2022 Young Leaders Mentoring Program (YLMP).

 

This laudable feat was made possible by the team work of 5 students/ Change Champions from the school. The yard stick for this award comprised of: 100% attendance during the program, outstanding results in their YLMP exams, mentees performance, projects and exemplary character.

 

 

Moreover, part of our incentive for this award category entails granting the unanimous wish of these students within a specific cost/price range. Indeed, it was a great delight for us to make the joint request of these students a reality by donating 25 laboratory stools and 2 laboratory tables to their school’s Physics Laboratory.

 

 

We are glad these young leaders will be leaving a legacy in their school at an early age and other science students will be benefiting greatly from the newly equipped laboratory.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the management of the school, Mr Bayo Onifade, S.M.I.L.E School’s Counselor, Mrs Victoria Adeyemo and our Youth Mentors- Miss Grace Oluwagboun and Mr Gbenga Adebayo for their tremendous effort during the Young Leaders Mentoring Program.
